Alona Beach Probably the most beautiful, and surely the most developed beach on Panglao is Alona Beach. Located at the Southwest of the island, this beach is about one and a half kilometers long, lined with nice resorts, which are great to stay for a some time, a number of well equiped diving establishments and pleasant places to eat out, if you do not want to eat at your resort's restaurant for a change.

Probably the only drawback of the beach are the large numbers of sea urchins that inhabit the water, starting some twenty or thirty meters out of the coast. You will just have to be careful when wading.
Don't forget to bring your snorkeling equipment. When you swim about one hundred meters off the beach, you will reach the edge of the 'house' reef, at between three and five meters deep, and thus can be easily observed even without scuba equipment. If you are into scuba diving, though, don't forget to have a few dives here as well, as it is certainly worth it, not bad at all, even compared with the reefs the boats will bring you to.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, in central Manhattan, New York City, between 62d and 66th streets W of Broadway. Lincoln Center is both a complex of buildings and the arts organizations that reside there. Between 1959 and 1972 the Metropolitan Opera, Avery Fisher Hall, the David H. Koch Theater, the Juilliard School (including Alice Tully Hall for recitals and a chamber music hall), the Vivian Beaumont Theater, the Library-Museum of the Performing Arts, the Guggenheim Bandshell in Damrosch Park, and several Fordham buildings were constructed on several sites. Among those selected to design the buildings were the architects W. K. Harrison, Eero Saarinen, Philip Johnson, and Max Abramowitz, and the stage designer Jo Mielziner. A 28-story tower with dormitory rooms, rehearsal studios, a movie theater, and other facilities was added to the complex in 1991. Frederick P. Rose Hall, designed by Rafael Viñoly and located at the nearby Time Warner Center, has housed the jazz division since 2004, and a significantly revamped Alice Tully Hall, designed by Diller Scofidio & Renfro, opened in 2009. The Claire Tow Theater, a small, intimate venue designed by Hugh Hardy and perched atop the Beaumont Theater, opened in 2012.

There are 11 resident constituent organizations that comprise Lincoln Center. Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Inc., a nonprofit organization with municipal support, manages the Center's campus and presents some 5,000 performances and 3,000 artists there annually; the Lincoln Center Institute is its educational arm.

Shoal Bay, Antigua Beach

With 365 beaches, Antigua is known for having a beach for every day of the year. The warm, calm waters of the Caribbean allow vacationers to make a splash in the protected salty sea. On Barbuda, the beaches are mostly marked by salmon-colored sands, and some of this small island's beaches are facing the more turbulent waters of the Atlantic Ocean. All of the beaches on both Antigua and Barbuda are open to the public, though some of the more isolated beaches may be a little difficult to access. However, some of these hard-to-reach beaches are among the island's most beautiful, making the journey well worth the effort. Before venturing to these secluded shores, be sure to get a good map and explicit directions.
